About the Opportunity
This position will be part of their EMEA & APJ Legal team and the candidate can be located in Mumbai or Hyderabad or Pune. This will be a permanent contract.

Job Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate software license agreements and various other contracts.
- Collaborate and strategize with business executives and sales managers on deal structure and approach.
- Provide counsel to all departments and levels of the business in multiple countries.
- Work closely with Associate General Counsel, International to manage the legal and corporate affairs of the company.
- Be able to cover ad-hoc legal queries and provide succinct advice to the business on contractual disputes and interpretation as well as be able to deal with a variety of legal issues including corporate law, regulatory matters, and IT and technology matters
- Strong consideration for privacy and security obligations.
Position

Required Experience
- Have a Minimum of 7 years of Professional experience in Law.
- Have a background of working within the Software Industry (SAAS would be a strong advantage)
- Have extensive professional experience in Commercial Law
- Have professional experience in international companies and in negotiations with clients in India, APJ, and EMEA.
- Are fluent in spoken and written English (additional language is a benefit).
Educational Requirements
- Graduate or Post-graduate in Law (LLB, LLM) from a reputable university.
