Supreme Court Observer is a legal journalism platform that reports, analyses and makes sense of the work of the Supreme Court. They aim to build a non-partisan database of the Supreme Court’s contribution to people’s everyday lives, through daily reporting on selected cases. SCO emphasizes simplicity and clarity.
About the Legal Internship Opportunity
This full-time in-person internship program gives students the opportunity to get hands-on experience in legal research and journalism as well as conducting logistical and administrative tasks.
The program is designed to provide interns with opportunities for learning and developing their skills. The minimum duration of the internship is one month.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Intern
- The Legal Intern will assist in the production of content for various parts of the website, including analytical posts, case pages, judge profiles, and posts on Court procedures.
Required Qualification
- 4th or 5th-year students in a 5-year law course
- 2nd or 3rd-year students in a 3-year law course
- Final-year students interested in legal journalism pursuing a bachelor’s degree in any subject.
