About the Centre

Centre for Comparative Studies in Personal Laws, National Law University Delhi aims to impart legal education and to provide counselling, assistance and litigation support to all concerned, regarding matters relating to constitutional, personal and family laws.

The activities of the Centre include the critical analysis of various laws, policies, programmes and judicial pronouncements on current issues and liaising with institutions, governmental, public and private authorities for conducting research and undertaking projects and disseminating information about laws and legal avenues available to all.

About the Opportunity

The Research Associate is expected to engage in diverse research activities including collection and compilation of research material, fieldwork, data collection, data analysis, report drafting, etc.

He/she is expected to assist the principal investigator in conducting research on various themes/projects. The position is for an initial period of 6 months, which can be extended to one year based on satisfactory performance.

Job Responsibilities

• The Research Associate is expected to engage in diverse research activities including collection and compilation of research material, fieldwork, data collection, data analysis, report drafting, etc.
• He/she is expected to assist the principal investigator in conducting research on various themes/projects.

Required Experience

• Candidate should be below the age of 40 years at the time of appointment.
• demonstrate good field research skills and experience.
• demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
• ability to create quality content, worth publication.
• good knowledge of MS Office and online platforms

Pay Scale

• ₹20000/- per month
