Senior Associate Position Available at PSL Advocates & Solicitors [Mumbai]
PSL Advocates & Solicitors is seeking to recruit a candidate for their commercial litigation practice area. This position provides a unique opportunity to gain expertise in a broad range of legal fields and pertinent issues. The selected candidate will have the chance to work on intricate cases firsthand, providing an excellent learning opportunity.
Job Responsibilities
- "Draft, negotiate, and review all client contracts including Master Service Agreements, Statement of Works (SOWs), Term Sheets, Amendments, Change Orders, and Master Terms & Conditions (MTC).
- Experience In Tax Litigation with regard to drafting writ petitions and appeals in the High Courts and Supreme Court.
- Assess the client’s scope of work, business processes, workflows, information exchanges, service levels, and commercial and legal aspects of the contract for potential exposure to liability risks arising from the use of proprietary data, trademarks, IP, data security, and non-standard terms and conditions.
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of vendor agreements, including review, negotiation, external reviews, and leadership buy-in.
- Research applicable laws, rules, and regulations to the client entity and advice on appropriate legal action, including drafting policies and other documents as appropriate. Ensuring that all required statutory compliances are being adhered to and making periodical reporting to Clients.
- Representing the client entity before the local authorities viz., ROC, NCLT etc.
- Monitoring and responding to any legal notices timely and effective.
- Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to all the assignments at hand. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and meet deadlines."
